Three ways of working together

Blogging Boot Camp

Many of us write our blog posts haphazardly. They’re last minute. We’re not sure what to write. We want to respond to current events, but also want to make the time we spend thinking of ideas, writing posts and formatting more efficient.

I’ll take you from the beginning of the process to the end. Together, we’ll look at specific techniques that help free you up to generate topics, create authoritative posts with titles that make people want to read what you have to say and design a manageable, efficient schedule while still allowing for your own creative and organizational processes.

How it works:

Before our first meeting, I’ll look at and evaluate your website and blog. Then, we’ll meet via Skype for 90 minutes to discuss your writing process, talk about where you get stuck and then begin to generate content and a schedule. Many walk away from that first meeting with a clear view of the next month of blogging,

To set up our first skype, make your first payment after which you will immediately be directed to a form where you’ll give me your contact information and answer a few questions about your blogging. I will be in touch soon after to set up a time to chat.

The first evaluation meeting is 150USD. Subsequent meetings are 100USD/hour. Or sign up for the initial evaluation plus 2 follow up meetings for 300USD

Every Writer Needs A Reader — for experienced writers

Writing is painful, as any professional writer knows. No matter how much you love it, you’ll run into blocks.  Why? Because when you’re deep in the nitty gritty details of writing, it’s easy to lose sight of the overall message you want to impart to your readers.

Think of me as your audience. I am here to provide constructive feedback so you can break through blocks and move towards creating more polished writing with a strong, clear and authentic message. These private workshops are perfect for  when you’re at the beginning of a piece and feel stuck or for a final read through when preparing your writing to submit for publication.

You send me your written work. I read it, comment and then we’ll meet to discuss.

We can work on:

  • brainstorming when you feel stuck
  • long or short blog posts
  • short stories
  • short creative non-fiction
  • journalistic pieces

If you have another type of writing you’d like to workshop or if you have any other questions, e-mail me to see how we can work together.

How it works:

To set up our first one-on-one to workshop your writing, make a payment via Paypal after which you’ll immediately be directed to a form asking for more information about you and your writing. I’ll be in touch soon after to get a copy of your draft and set up a time for us to meet.

All workshop hours are 100USD. Save 50USD by signing up for three workshops at once. If you choose three workshops at once, you are welcome to submit new work for each workshop.

Some writing may require more than a 1 hour workshop. If this is the case with your piece, I will let you know immediately upon receiving and reading it, and we can plan accordingly.
